How It Works

The LX Endowment is a permanent fund, professionally managed by the AV Foundation, governed by the LX Board’s Executive Committee.

Our goal of a $3-5M endowment generates ~$150-250K annually, supporting LX’s core operational costs and annual event.

  • 5% annual distribution supports LX’s operations

  • The AV Foundation serves as the professional fund manager, with the LX Board’s Executive Committee serving as donor-advisor. The LX Executive Committee will oversee a risk management and investment strategy. 

  • The Endowment has a perpetual purpose to ensure LX is able to invest in future leaders for years to come; as needs evolve, the fund can adapt while honoring this original intent.

  • Since its beginning, LX has enjoyed financial support from external partners. Building a lasting Endowment replaces that support with internal structure to keep access to the community at an accessible price point and preserve LX’s legacy.
