We are excited to welcome you, one of just a select few, into the LX community! In the spirit of LX, where our cohort has no idea what to expect, you might not find all of your questions answered… but, we encourage you to roll with it!

We will be spending much time outdoors because…San Diego! We will be IN, AROUND and ON the water so consult the packing list on the schedule below! For instance: water shoes recommended! Also, leave extra room in your suitcase for your return home.
Travel Tips & Arrival 4/24
Please leave room in your luggage.
When we say casual, we mean it. We aren’t your typical conference - so business wear is not allowed! Most of the weekend will be spent outdoors because… San Diego! Please check the weather ahead of time and pack accordingly. Recommended items to pack can be found in the daily schedule.
We request your presence. Please tidy up any personal or professional loose ends. You won’t have time for much else.
All expenses throughout the event will be covered with the exception of travel to and from the LX event, e.g. airplane and Uber fare.

Waivers & Travel Form
Travel Form. Notify us of when you will be arriving and departing. Please arrive at the Omni San Diego Hotel (675 L St. San Diego, CA 92101) no later than 5pm on April 24th and coordinate a departure from the Omni no earlier than 11am. We recommend flights to depart after 1pm on April 27th.
Waivers (Liability and Photo and Video)… don’t be scared. :) But, our very wise insurance and legal guys make us do it!
Thursday, April 24
What to wear: Dress is casual. We will not be returning to the hotel until late evening. Bring a jacket since waterfront and outdoor activities can be chilly.
4 pm Hotel Check-In Omni San Diego Hotel (675 L St, San Diego, CA 92101).
5:15pm Registration check- in and gather in the Omni San Diego Hotel Lobby located near the front desk
5:30pm LX Begins!
Friday, April 25
What to wear: Start out wearing casual athletic wear that can get wet and sandy for morning activity and water shoes are recommended (unless you choose to be barefoot). Bring a full change of clothes, including undergarments (athletic wear or casual, including a pair of tennis shoes, plus jacket, hat, sunblock, and sunglasses.) Seaside activities can be sunny/chilly!
You will return late afternoon to the hotel for quick showers. Evening dress is casual. Bring a jacket for a late evening outdoors.
7:30am Meet on the second floor of Omni Hotel • Ace Porter Mezzanine
6:15pm Meet in the Omni Hotel Lobby
Saturday, April 26
What to wear: Dress is casual and wear comfortable walking shoes. We will not be returning to the hotel until late evening. Much of the day will be outdoors so bring a jacket since waterfront and outdoor evenings can be chilly. You may want a hat, sunblock, and sunglasses.
7:15am Meet in the hotel lobby to walk to breakfast
Sunday, April 27
What to wear: Casual wear. Jacket if needed for outdoors.
8:30am Meet at the Tortuga Terrace (4th floor) of the Omni Hotel.
11 am LX Ends
Hotel check-out is generally 11am, unless you call to confirm a later time.
Please coordinate your own ride to the airport.
If you are not leaving until late afternoon/evening and are interested in a 1:10pm Padres game with a few LX Alumni, contact Laura.
